Al Waad Manufacturing Packaging has joined the PalletBiz franchise ranks quite recently and we are excited to share an interview with its CEO, Mr. Antonio Rostirolla. An entrepreneur of Italian origin, residing in the Middle East for over two decades, shared his success story with Vision Next, a well-known YouTube channel for businesses in Qatar.
Reflecting on the early days of Al Waad, Mr. Rostirolla recounted the challenges of starting a pallet manufacturing company in the Middle East. Initially, Al Waad operated as a small trading company with just Mr. Rostirolla, his wife, and three employees in a small office. However, later Mr. Antonio made the strategic decision to diversify production and began manufacturing pallets, despite their significant cost. Subsequently, in 2018 the first warehouse of Al Waad was opened in the Doha industrial area.
Mr. Rostirolla credited PalletBiz for playing a pivotal role in the growth of his manufacturing and packaging company. Al Waad shares an unwavering commitment to sustainability, aligning with PalletBiz’s vision and corporate sustainability strategy. Aligning with the company’s focus on environmental well-being concerns, the CEO mentioned, that Al Waad became the first company in Qatar to implement a wood waste and recycling system that transforms it into pressed blocks.
