Background
From a modest beginning
It sounds like a cliché, but PalletBiz actually started in a rented double-garage in Kaunas, Lithuania in 1998 – the picture to the right proves it! Based on getting the technology and licenses from Denmark and selling the products back to Denmark we developed and moved into our own more suited factory premises after the first two years of operation. Later the local market for used/reconditioned pallets was developed and we obtained good contracts with IKEA as a major client.
Liking our approach, IKEA asked us to open production in Romania where good quality EUR-pallets were in short supply. In Romania we have achieved good relationships with several other high volume users of packaging materials and we continue the development of a network of depots in all the country.
By 2004 we had realized that our concept of doing business was interesting for other operators and partners and we have since then developed our structure in such a way that we are ready for franchising our network into EMEA, which today is the primary focus area for expansion.

Many of our clients has through the years developed a diversified need, based on centralized procurement but with a multi-country call-off from vendors. This has been one of the major reasons for a continuous investment in a strong network throughout the supply chain. PalletBiz is today the only supplier who offers “a one call for all” solution to larger companies with its combined network of the best.
