IPPC-ISPM 15
ISPM 15 (International Standards For Phytosanitary Measures No. 15) is an International Phytosanitary Measure developed by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) that directly addresses the need to treat wood materials of a thickness greater than 6mm, used to ship products between countries – therefore it is a regulation for wood packaging material in international trade. According to the directive, every batch of wood packaging destined to foreign markets must undergo a treatment that involves exposing the wood to heat (56°C) for 30 minutes.
ISO
PalletBiz targets to comply with all relevant ISO standards within the Packaging & Handling industry. These international standards enable us to serve our clients with the best products possible while following global regulations, and also prove that what our business provides is real QUALITY.
Some of our franchisees have obtained ISO certifications in Quality Management (9001:2015) and Environmental Management (14001:2015). Our mission is to have all PalletBiz franchisees certified in the coming years – wherever relevant and applicable.
Other certifications
Besides the traditional certifications that are custom to acquire within the Packaging & Handling industry, PalletBiz is continuously looking for additional certification programs in order to ensure that the network is an established provider of quality products and services.
The current list of certifications includes : the CP Licence, EPAL Licence, FSC® chain of custody certification and Chemicals and Allied Industries Certificate of membership.
